Board Member Vacancy at Pet and Animal Wildlife Rescue
Pet and Animal Wildlife Rescue (PAWR) is responsible for the animal shelter as well as animal control in wards 2 and 6 for the Municipality of Chatham Kent. We are currently seeking two (2) board members who will serve as links to the community by providing strategic direction, and high-level oversight for the organization to be successful in achieving its vision, mission and goals.
The role of the Board of Directors is to provide leadership and oversight of the activities of PAWR. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in finance or legal. Board members are elected for a 2 year term, and may be re-elected for two additional 2 year terms, for a maximum of 6 years on the Board.
