When Turtlellini came into our care, she wasn’t in the healthiest condition. She had a mild case of shell rot, which is a type of fungus that turtles get when they live in unhealthy, dirty conditions. She also had many layers of unshed scutes (the little sections on a turtles shell). Her shell is a little bumpy looking still, but she is now a happy and healthy girl!
