From everyone at PAWR, we would like to wish each and everyone of you a happy new year. It has been quite an interesting year and as things evolved, so did we.
Our shopping cart, which allowed us to continue cat and small animal adoptions despite the many restrictions in place, has been a huge hit. So much so, that we are considering keeping it in operation post-covid. Our adoptions have been through the roof, as most shelters, and we are hoping that each pet parent will have a plan in place to transition their adoptee to a new routine when work resumes for most of them.
Staff at PAWR have been finding new ways to provide the public with what is needed, may it be online or over the phone, planning and scheduling appointments, deliveries etc.
In short, like everything in life, things change, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse, but either way, fluidity is key.
