When Cici first arrived at the shelter, he had us convinced he was auditioning for the role of a tiny, feral forest goblin. Hissing? Maybe. Suspicious of humans? Absolutely. Interested in trusting us? Not even a little bit. But as it turns out, Cici wasn’t a wild child after all. He was just a scared little guy who needed some time to realize that humans might not be so bad!

These days, Cici is showing us his sweeter side. He’s a lovely boy who enjoys pets and affection when he decides it’s time for them. He’s still a little particular about his personal space, so think of him as a tiny prince who expects you to wait for an invitation before entering the royal cuddle chamber. Cici is looking for a patient, understanding family who will let him settle in at his own pace and respect his boundaries while he continues to build confidence. With a little time, kindness, and plenty of treats, this former tiny terror is ready to show off the sweetheart hiding underneath all that tough-guy business.
