PAW Rescue is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities of Canada to support dogs waiting for adoption. This collaboration helps connect caring people with dogs who need a fresh start. By working together, we make adoption easier, more visible, and focused on lasting matches for dogs and families.
If you are not ready to adopt but want to meet some of our dogs for adoption, come by PetSmart on Walker Road in Windsor from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Hattie came to us as stray with two siblings, and while we don’t know where their journey began, we do know they’re looking for kind people to help them learn that the world isn’t such a scary place.
Hattie is sweet and gentle, taking things at her own pace. H
She need patient people willing to help her build confidence and her trust.
A quiet home, a predictable routine, and lots of kindness will go a long way for these pups. Every new experience, every tail wag, and every moment of trust is a huge step forward for dogs who are still figuring out that people can be safe.

Move it, football head! Arnold is ready for his next adventure!
Just like his cartoon namesake, Arnold is a friendly, easygoing guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. This handsome boy enjoys making new friends, spending time with other dogs, and being included in whatever fun is happening around him.
Arnold’s favorite hobbies include long walks, investigating every interesting scent he comes across, and soaking up quality time with his humans. Whether it’s an outdoor adventure or a relaxing evening at home, Arnold is happiest when he’s part of the action.
Like all great characters, Arnold comes with a little backstory. In a previous home, he did show some protective behavior toward his people around another person. We have not seen that behavior while he’s been in our care, but his future family should be aware of it and be prepared to provide clear boundaries, structure, and guidance to help him continue being his best self.
Arnold can also be a bit anxious at times and will thrive with patient adopters who can help him build confidence and feel secure. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves being close to them.
While Arnold has many wonderful qualities, he may not be the best match for a home with cats. In a previous foster home, Arnold would actively chase cats, and because of this, we feel he would be happiest and most successful in a cat-free home.
