When I first arrived at the shelter, I thought the best survival strategy was to pretend everyone was suspicious. Thankfully, I moved into an amazing foster home with my siblings, where I discovered that humans aren’t scary after all. In fact, they’re surprisingly useful. They open food cans, wave feather toys around, and provide excellent nap locations.

Now I’ve traded my “stranger danger” mindset for “professional toy inspector” and “certified cuddle trainee.” I can still take a minute to size up new situations, but once I decide you’re one of the good ones, I’m all in. So consider this your official Alert: your home may be missing one sweet, goofy, formerly shy kitten… and I just happen to fit the description perfectly. Proceed with adoption immediately.
