Handsome Squidward is not feral — he has absolutely no interest in causing chaos or harm. In fact, when he’s scared (which, right now, is often), he doesn’t lash out… he just powers down. Like a little fuzzy computer entering sleep mode. He’ll quietly melt into his cozy bed, tuck his face away, and pretend he has become one with the blanket.

He is VERY shy. New spaces? Suspicious. Sudden movements? Unnecessary. Loud noises? Absolutely not. But underneath that fearful exterior is a gentle, sensitive soul who just needs time, patience, and someone who understands that bravery sometimes looks like simply staying in the room.

He would likely do well as a working cat in a calm, predictable environment, or in a very quiet home with a loving, understanding human who doesn’t expect instant cuddles. He needs someone who celebrates small wins — a slow blink, a tiny step forward, a slightly less dramatic blanket dive.
