Yes, he knows what his name sounds like, and no, he is not available for dinner… only cuddles. Otis came in having already been through a bit of a “crispy start,” arriving with a wound on his leg and then catching an upper respiratory infection on top of it. But don’t let that fool you—this orange boy has the spirit of a cat twice his size and absolutely refuses to let anything slow down his commentary. Because make no mistake: Otis is VERY vocal. This boy has opinions, and he is fully committed to sharing them at all times. Whether it’s meal prep, nap schedules, or your general life choices, Otis will happily provide a running narration like a furry little food critic who never signed an NDA.

Despite his “well-seasoned” introduction to shelter life, Otis is in great spirits. He’s silly, affectionate, and full of that classic orange cat chaos energy. One minute he’s dramatically announcing his presence like he owns the whole kitchen, and the next he’s leaning in for love like he didn’t just yell about it five seconds ago. He’s friendly with people, loves attention, and has perfected the art of making every moment a little funnier just by being in it. His hobbies include talking, supervising, talking some more, and ensuring no one forgets that he is, in fact, Otisserie Chicken—golden, iconic, and always slightly extra.
