Some cats are found under porches, some are found in sheds, but Shingle? She was found on a roof. Because apparently the ground was simply not good enough for her. Naturally, we named her Shingle – it was either that or “Ma’am, Please Get Off The Roof.” This gorgeous calico girl can be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time to assess the situation and she’ll warm up faster than a roof in the summer sun.

Once she decides you’re trustworthy, you’ll be rewarded with the sweetest little chirps as she politely, or not so politely, demands your attention. Trying to work? Chirp. Looking at your phone instead of her? Chirp. Existing without acknowledging Shingle? Unacceptable. She’s beautiful, charming, slightly ridiculous, and fully prepared to retire from her dangerous rooftop lifestyle in favour of becoming the tiny supervisor of your household. She may have extensive roof experience, but now she’s looking for a forever home where she can focus on more important things… like chirping at her people, supervising absolutely everything, and reminding everyone that she is, in fact, the most important part of the building.
