Smokey is a handsome male cat with big “soft gray cloud” energy and an even softer personality when it comes to people. He came into our care after being surrendered because he wasn’t getting along with other animals in the home, so he’s now looking for a setup where he can be the main character without any co-stars stealing the spotlight.

Smokey is, however, extremely committed to humans. With people, he’s a total sweetheart—affectionate, gentle, and very quick to decide that you are, in fact, his new favorite. He enjoys attention in a calm, confident way, like someone who has scheduled “being adored” into their daily routine and expects you to respect the calendar. He’s the kind of cat who does best when he can keep things simple: good company, cozy spots, and zero drama from other animals. In return, he offers a lot of love, a very soothing presence, and that classic Smokey charm that makes you wonder how something so sweet ended up being this easy to love.
