Meet Traffic Cone, bright orange, slightly suspicious, and currently under construction emotionally.

Traffic Cone may not come flying into your arms on day one, but give him a little time, a few gentle slow blinks, and a patient hand, and you’ll start to see the sweet boy hiding underneath all that caution tape. He’s timid at first, preferring to carefully inspect new people and situations like a tiny orange safety inspector, but once he realizes you’re kind, he starts to melt into a soft, lovable little companion.

This handsome guy is looking for a calm, patient home that understands trust takes time. He’s not the “life of the party” type — he’s more of a “quietly watching from across the room until he decides you’re acceptable” type. And honestly? We respect the professionalism. Traffic Cone would thrive with people who are happy to let him settle in at his own pace. The reward is incredibly worth it: those first little head nudges, the cautious purrs, and the moment he finally decides your lap is safe enough to sit beside (or maybe even on, if you’re lucky). Traffic Cone did not do well in a home with other cats, and will likely need to be the solo feline in his new home.

Underneath the nervousness is a very sweet orange boy who just needs someone willing to meet him where he’s at. With patience, kindness, and maybe a few treats offered as peace negotiations, Traffic Cone is ready to slowly but surely find his forever home.
