Owned Cat Spay/Neuter Voucher Program – Important Information please read it before purchasing
ONCE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR PURCHASE ONLINE, IT IS NOT VALID UNTIL YOU COME TO THE SHELTER TO PICK UP THE ACTUAL VOUCHER AND PROVIDE PROOF OF ID AND RESIDENCE IN CHATHAM-KENT.
Pet and Wildlife Rescue is proud to offer low-cost spay/neuter vouchers to help cat owners in Chatham-Kent access affordable veterinary care and reduce pet overpopulation in our community.
How the Voucher Program Works
1. Vouchers are released each time our fund reaches $10,000.
2. 50 vouchers are issued per release cycle.
3. Each voucher costs the cat owner $50, and this fee helps build the next spay/neuter fund.
Eligibility Requirements
4. CK residents only—proof of address may be required.
5. One cat per household per release, to give all families a fair chance to participate.
6. Cats must be owned pets (not feral or rescue intakes).
What the Voucher Covers
Each voucher includes:
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Rabies vaccination
- Microchip implantation and registration
- E-collar for safe recovery
How to Use Your Voucher
7. Once you receive your voucher, you must book your appointment directly with one of our partner veterinary clinics listed on the voucher.
8. Vouchers are non-transferable and must be used for the cat listed at purchase.
9. Vouchers have an expiry date (3 months from issue date), so please schedule promptly.
Important Notes
Quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.
PAWR reserves the right to adjust eligibility or program details if needed to ensure fairness and community benefit.
ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED A VOUCHER, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH INSTRUCTIONS.
