A few days ago, our after-hours animal control officer received a called about a stray dog hit by a car. He rushed out to the scene and when he noticed it was more than scrapes and scratches he drove straight to Windsor for her to see an emergency vet.
Poor Rosemary spent 2 nights under care to help manage the pain from a broken pelvis and the many cuts and bruises she endured during the accident.
No one came to claim this sweet soul from the shelter and we are now ensuring she can recover fully so she can find a better place to call home, with an owner who would always have her back, no matter what.
