What an incredible milestone!
On July 12, we gathered at the Cat Lounge inside Glasshouse Nursery to celebrate our 100th adoption—a moment that reflects the amazing support of our community and everyone who has visited, volunteered, donated, or opened their hearts to a shelter cat.
Making the milestone even more special was Moonwalk, a beautiful brown tabby, who became our 100th adopted cat. Even better, Moonwalk found his forever home with a member of the Glasshouse Nursery team, making this celebration truly feel like coming full circle.
To mark the occasion, we hosted a fun feline-themed party filled with cupcakes, smiles, and plenty of excitement as we celebrated everything the Cat Lounge has accomplished since opening. The day became even more memorable when two additional cats also found loving homes, bringing the total to 102 adoptions by the end of the celebration.
The Cat Lounge has become much more than an adoption space. It has grown into a welcoming community destination where visitors can relax, connect with adoptable cats, and learn more about animal welfare. Every adoption creates space for another cat in need, giving more animals the opportunity to find loving families.
